Summary
Join Natera, a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, as a pivotal contributor to the company's billing and patient services. This role involves managing patient eligibility, claim submissions, and reporting, requiring strong organizational skills and adherence to regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for modifying internal and external protocols and SOPs to accommodate additional product lines. The position offers the possibility of conversion after 90 days and includes remote work options. Requirements
- Have experience with medical billing and coding, preferably in a skilled nursing environment
- Possess excellent customer service skills and phone manner
- Be able to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices
- Have a minimum of two years of call center experience in inbound and outbound capacity
- Have a minimum of two years of Salesforce experience
- Possess excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
- Have a clear understanding of the insurance billing process including EOB, Deductable, Coinsurance and Copay
- Maintain a current status on Natera training requirements
- Manage all patient-specific eligibility verifications with payers claim submissions/ investigations, product grid, current patient status analysis, and various reporting functions management
- Ensure strong organization and strict adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to modifications to internal/external department protocols and SOP for current processes to expand upon additional product lines of payer submissions
- Establish priorities and the ability to multi-task accordingly
- Confer with Management to determine work progress and provide information on changes

- Have an outgoing personality with excellent oral & presentation skills
- Be able to think strategically and execute tactically
- Have an emphasis on competitive analysis and team-first attitude
- Be able to relate and educate our billing offerings to potential patients and internal agents
- Have strong quantitative and MS Excel skills
- Be self-motivated, with the desire and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
- Act with a sense of urgency
