Payment Operations Specialist

Requirements

• Have 2 years of experience in payment operations, dispute or chargeback management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Maintain a proactive mindset with a positive, solution-oriented approach
• Have a strong understanding of payments systems and banking processes
• Have excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze payment data, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk management
• Great communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify and address issues related to payment operations

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise merchant accounts while providing support to their inquiries
• Support merchants in their onboarding process
• Monitor onboarding and payment workflows
• Execute payment policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance to procedures and regulatory requirements
• Follow up and resolve payment related issues and disputes
• Document payment processes and procedures
• Support on requests related to payouts and fraud
• Analyze payment trends and propose improvements
• Prepare and submit merchant reports
• Prepare daily reconciliation of payments transactions to finance department
• Support the implementation of new payment related products and services
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to address payment related issues

Preferred Qualifications

Another European language is a plus
