Summary

Join Keywords' People Services Team as an entry-level People Advisor! Based remotely in Canada (EST preferred), you will maintain the HRIS (Workday), support employees, and contribute to various HR functions. Responsibilities include data management, query resolution, document creation, report preparation, and collaboration with HR business partners. You will also support onboarding, offboarding, payroll, performance management, and recruitment processes. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and fluency in English and French. Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent in Human Resources
  • Computer literate, proficient in Word, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and being flexible, organized and able to prioritize and manage own workload
  • Able to work effectively in a remote work setting, maintaining the same standards as if working in the office
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high activity environment, on a wide variety of matters and able to handle the requirement to quickly shift from one situation or task to another
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Accountability and dependability with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Committed to personal learning and self-improvement, including continuous professional development
  • Fluency in both written and oral communication in English and French

Responsibilities

  • Regular maintenance of Workday, ensuring updates are made in a timely fashion and carrying out regular data cleanses
  • Effective management of queries through Workday case management system within agreed service levels
  • Support with the implementation of Workdays Electronic Document Management System, creating and reviewing necessary documents
  • Preparing requested reports and completing analysis of information to identify trends, areas of improvement and continued business excellence
  • Collaborating with the People & Culture business partners and People Centres of Excellence to resolve any questions that β€˜break policy’ and provide feedback on questions / issues
  • Administration support for onboarding, off boarding, payroll and personnel administration process, as needed – preparing contracts, updating relevant systems
  • Administration support for performance management and employee development in line with performance management policy
  • Supporting staff recruitment processes, including preparing offers and contracts of employment, referencing, and collecting required documentation at offer stage
  • Ensure consistent Human Resources administration is followed in all studios; including personnel files, contracts, job descriptions, annual leave and sickness records etc
