Summary
Join Loop's People Team and contribute to a humane work experience that prioritizes empathy and well-being. You will support the People Operations and People Business Partner teams, ensuring smooth operations and a people-first approach. Key responsibilities include managing employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee information, providing exceptional employee support, gathering feedback, supporting managers with performance challenges, assisting other teams, and scaling People functions. This role requires 1-2 years of HR experience, at least 1 year with Rippling, exceptional organizational skills, strong communication skills, and experience handling confidential information. The ideal candidate is a Google Sheets pro, self-motivated, and proactive in improving processes. Requirements
- Around 1-2 years of experience working in an HR role
- At least 1 year utilizing Rippling to implement system enhancements, resolve system-related issues, answer employee questions about the system, create reporting, and own day-to-day upkeep, maintaining a high degree of diligence and ownership
- Your coworkers have described you as more organized and detailed than others - even the smallest of details donβt pass by you
- Can share a few examples of how youβve created exceptional partnerships with stakeholders youβve supported across your organization
- You consider yourself a Google Sheets pro and youβre excited about growing your spreadsheet skills and knowledge
- Communication is your superpower - you should impress others with your style, thoroughness, and frequency of communication through email, call, video, chat, you name it!
- Have been accountable for confidential and sensitive information, and handled it with discretion
- You care deeply about the quality of your work and others notice too
- Made your role better than you found it by proactively creating and continuously improving expectations, processes, and documentation
- Proven experience picking up new tools quickly and becoming a self-sufficient power user
- You are self-motivated!
Responsibilities
- Kick off the employee journey by owning the pre-onboarding experience for new team members, helping everyone feel like they belong and are set up for success from the very beginning
- Administer the details of offboarding, helping alumni exit gracefully when their time at Loop has come to an end
- Manage employee information and process employee changes, keeping our information updated, accurate, reportable, and tracked for history
- Serve as the go-to for all employee questions, feedback, and challenges, providing exceptional service and support
- Gather qualitative information from team members through stay or exit interviews, share feedback to improve the Loop experience, and determine ways to scale these processes
- Support managers as they navigate performance challenges
- Assist the Recruiting and Employee Experience teams as needed on day-to-day work, ad-hoc requests, or projects
- Scale the People function, ensuring our systems, processes, and documentation are updated and accurate, and we are working effectively
