Summary

Join Everbridge's People & Culture team as a People Operations Coordinator, focusing on EMEA, with a base in Hungary. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR/People Operations in EMEA
  • Solid knowledge of Hungarian payroll, benefits, and employment regulations
  • Familiarity with broader European labor laws and HR compliance
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (UKG a plus)
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hungarian
  • Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • A customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to expert for EMEA HR operations, with a strong focus on Hungary
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for Hungary-based new hires, including orientation delivery
  • Support payroll and benefits administration; audit Hungary payroll monthly for accuracy
  • Own and execute employee lifecycle processes (job changes, offboarding, data updates, etc.) across EMEA
  • Handle tier-1 employee inquiries on HR systems, policies, payroll, and benefits
  • Use case management tools to resolve issues efficiently, escalating when needed
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance, including sick leave, probation, and training
  • Drive process improvements and support HRIS (UKG) usage and optimization
  • Assist with system rollouts, updates, and documentation of HR workflows
  • Provide occasional project and compliance support to the wider P&C team
