Join Collectively's People & Culture team as a temporary, full-time employee for up to 10 months! Requirements
- 2+ years of HR experience
- At least 1 year of recruitment experience
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Maintains confidentiality and operates with integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting over Zoom and in person
- Experience managing multiple job requisitions with competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Responsibilities
- Supports the recruitment process to ensure that the end-to-end experience is well-managed and efficient for both hiring managers and candidates
- Sources and screens both active and passive candidates through Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and other databases
- Conducts energetic, informative, and engaging pre-screen interviews
- Communicates the companyβs values and employee experience throughout the pre-screening process
- Acts as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers
- Coordinates onboarding meetings in collaboration with managers, IT, and People & Culture
- Leads announcements for birthdays, work anniversaries, and quarterly new hire social events
- Maintains accurate records of all employees, contractors, and interns
- Serves as a trusted resource for staff questions, resolving challenges with empathy and tact
- Ensures compliance with employment laws across cities, states, and countries
- Manages integration of PTO requests into the company calendar for visibility and resourcing
- Champions the Collectively Code and helps infuse our values into daily work life
- Co-leads internal culture and events (e.g., guest speakers, virtual get-togethers, workshops)
- Serves as a key contact for employees, contractors, interns, and external partners
- Encourages participation in Collectively events and activities
- Helps foster a DEIB-focused culture through experience design
- Supports ERG programming and guides ERG leaders
- Supports onboarding/offboarding experiences with attention to 90-day milestones
- Leads content and distribution of the weekly all-staff newsletter
- Assists with annual offsite planning
- Manages employee recognition programs (e.g., tenure, Step Up Awards)
- Primary point of contact for vendors (IT, contractors, supply providers)
- Supports the development and maintenance of a great remote experience
- Responds promptly to team inquiries and escalates when necessary
- Organizes virtual and in-person employee events, including vendor coordination
- Develops ongoing Slack engagement to keep remote employees connected
- Delivers timely and accurate employee services
- Communicates clearly with executives and teams
- Demonstrates positivity, collaboration, and energy
- Maintains accurate records and administrative compliance
- Takes initiative on culture-building programs
- Manages time effectively across multiple projects
- Seeks guidance when faced with challenges or key decisions
