Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a People Operations Associate for our People & Culture team. This is a remote role which may require occasional travel to our main office in New Hyde Park, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a Human Resources function
- Bachelorβs degree preferred
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Strong ability to efficiently organize and track projects and tasks; strong work ethic and ability to follow through; self-starter
- Incredibly detail-oriented; able to input data accurately and track all tasks to completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to assist in drafting learning aides and HR policies as needed
- Passion for leveraging systems and technology to improve the employee experience
- Curiosity and excitement for multiple areas of Employee Experience/ Human Resources
- Strong competence in Excel, Word, G Suite; competent in a variety of technology platforms; excellent attention to detail; fast and accurate typing skills
- Strong design skills for creating and updating presentations (PPT) or learning aids (Word, G Suite)
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of all HR Admin files (electronic) and records, supporting logistics and system changes for employee transitions (new hires, promotions, offboarding)
- Assist employee with general HR inquiries - anything related to payroll, benefits, systems issues, questions about processes and policies, etc, and escalate to the appropriate HR team member as necessary
- Own our people operations processes throughout the employment lifecycle including onboarding, internal transfer, promotions, relocation requests, and offboarding
- Analyze processes to ensure efficiency within people operations and HR, as well as in conjunction with business leaders and departments
- Support data integrity of HR systems to ensure that employee data updates are completed in an accurate and timely manner, including audits and ad-hoc data requests
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment process; manage our platform and support setting it up
- Create or update written documentation and resources, including policies, training materials, and fun initiatives for employees
- Support other initiatives within People & Culture, which may include Performance Management process, compensation projects, cross-departmental initiatives, employee recognition
- Build great relationships and collaborate with others on our team and across the company
