Summary

Join Vanta's People Ops team as a People Operations Generalist and play a critical role in supporting the company's growth by scaling systems, policies, and programs. You will manage employee leave policies, compliance reporting, and partner with the legal team to ensure HR compliance. You will drive efficiency in People Ops processes, support benefits strategy and administration, and contribute to various strategic projects. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and is detail-oriented. This is a remote position in the US reporting to the Senior Manager, People Ops.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably at a fast scaling start up
  • Experience driving leave management programs and policy creation at a multinational company
  • Strong knowledge of US compliance requirements
  • Creative problem solver who uses frameworks to cut through ambiguity and gets energy from independently figuring things out
  • Detail-oriented, exceptionally communicative, ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong proficiency with Excel

Responsibilities

  • Manage our existing employee leave policies globally and the ways that we administer them
  • Manage all compliance reporting responsibilities etc
  • Partner with the legal team to ensure that HR policies and procedures meet the needs of Vanta and are in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Drive efficiency across our core People Ops processes - building automation and optimizing our use of technology to ensure we can operate at scale
  • Support benefits strategy and administration
  • Support various strategic people ops projects as needed
