People Operations Intern

Summary

Join Zeta's Summer Internship Program and gain invaluable experience supporting schools and staff in preparation for the 2025-26 school year. As a Summer Intern, you will work alongside the People Operations team, building real-world skills by managing employee data, supporting key metrics and reporting, and streamlining processes. You will also help execute the biggest onboarding event of the year, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new educators. This 8-week hybrid internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about various aspects of school preparation and shadow colleagues from diverse career backgrounds. Responsibilities

• Build real-world skills in People Operations by managing sensitive employee data with care, supporting key metrics and reporting, and helping streamline processes from hiring to onboarding — all while gaining hands-on experience that sets you up for future roles in HR, Operations, or beyond
• Help execute our biggest onboarding event of the year, while coordinating logistics and ensuring every new educator’s experience is smooth, welcoming, and unforgettable

Benefits

• This internship follows a hybrid schedule
• The internship duration is 8 weeks long, from June 16th, 2025 through August 8th, 2025
• You will work remotely for the majority of the internship, with the option to work in-person at Zeta Inwood between July 28th and August 8th
• Interns can expect to work 6 hours a day, from around 9:00am - 3:00pm
• Compensation for this position is $16.50 an hour
