Summary

Join Magna Marketing as their People Operations Manager and oversee all people-related functions. This role encompasses the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding. You will work closely with the Director of Operations and Executive Leadership team to ensure compliance, improve employee engagement, and manage employee relations. The ideal candidate possesses 5-7 years of HR experience in a professional services company, demonstrating expertise in all areas of HR. This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment offering significant growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a professional services company
  • Extensive experience in all areas of HR, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven generalist HR and recruitment experience
  • Knowledge of HR responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem
  • Strong organizational and planning skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including: Recruitment & Hiring
  • Onboarding and ordering new equipment, and training
  • Performance Management
  • Offboarding
  • Policy Implementation and Enforcement
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Run background checks
  • Manage offshore VISA and H1Bs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Oversee the performance review process
  • Manage employee relations issues, including performance improvement plans (PIPs) and terminations
  • Coordinate building the company handbook with all employee policies, company values, and expectations
  • Facilitate all onboarding steps for new resources, including ordering company technology, walking through insurance benefits, and setting up their 401k

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Lattice or other performance management software
  • Experience working with Greenhouse or similar HR recruiting platforms
