Summary

Vital Health is a primary care benefit company designed for the uninsured or under-insured. They are looking for an experienced People Operations Manager to oversee HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. The role involves managing recruitment and onboarding, handling employee inquiries and concerns, administering performance reviews, coordinating and delivering training programs, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and maintaining accurate employee records.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy, discretion, and conflict resolution
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex employee relations
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all HR practices and policies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-learner who takes initiative and is able to operate independently when executing a project

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment life cycle, from job posting to offer stage for select roles
• Collaborate with external recruiters to ensure that job searches go smoothly
• Conduct new employee orientations and manage onboarding and offboarding
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
• Develop and execute employee wellness and engagement programs
• Administer performance review processes and provide guidance to employees
• Coordinate and deliver training programs on various HR topics
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
