Summary
Join Honeycomb, a remote-first observability platform company, as a People Operations Administrator. You will manage new hire onboarding logistics, accurately enter employee data, produce formal documents, ensure HR compliance, manage a ticketing system, collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with employee experience programs, and provide daily support to the People Operations team. This role requires at least one year of HR or administrative experience, including new hire onboarding and HRIS data entry experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Requirements
- At least 1 year of HR or administrative experience
- Experience conducting new hire onboarding
- HRIS or systems data entry experience
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to work successfully both independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and utilize appropriate tact and integrity
Responsibilities
- Manage New Hire Onboarding logistics, including but not limited to presenting at our Day 1 orientation
- Accurately and efficiently enter employee data into HR system (Rippling)
- Accurately and efficiently produce formal documents and letters on behalf of People team (e.g. referral bonus confirmation letters, job change letters)
- Ensure HR administrative and compliance requirements are met (e.g. I-9 verifications, employment verifications, background checks)
- Manage our ticketing system by responding to employee inquiries within SLAs and escalating issues when appropriate
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Recruiting, Finance, IT and Security to ensure a seamless and successful onboarding process for employees
- Assist in the facilitation of employee experience programs, including but not limited to event calendars, celebration announcements, and employee milestones
- Provide daily support for the People Operations team
- Balance a high volume of work while delivering an exceptional employee experience
- Ad-hoc administrative support for People Team Projects & Programs
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of G-Suite and Rippling
