People Operations Specialist

Summary

Join Hummingbird's People team as a People Ops professional and play a key role in empowering our fully distributed workforce. You will own and optimize people-related processes across the employee lifecycle, creating exceptional in-person experiences for our remote team. This role involves building engaging employee retention programs, collaborating cross-functionally, and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll be a natural problem-solver, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited about creating superb employee experiences. • Own and optimize People-related processes across the employee lifecycle
• Lead with employee empathy, and augment processes from onboarding and offboarding to open enrollment and DEIB initiatives
• Create incredible in-person experiences for our fully distributed company
• Build programs that focus on meaningful employee engagement and retention
• Collaborate cross-functionally with all types of roles
• Balance the strategic big picture with the hands-on day to day
