Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources and/or employee relations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to address employee-related matters, coaching managers on setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and creating documentation
  • Guide managers through performance management processes, creating tailored strategies to address performance gaps while providing support in the development of performance improvement plans and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of cases in the People Relations case management system
  • Utilize dashboards and reports to track progress on cases and conduct timely follow-ups with managers
  • Analyze employee relations data to identify patterns and root causes, providing reports and actionable insights to leadership to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Manage the employee offboarding process ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees
  • Assist with conducting workplace investigations by taking detailed interview notes and preparing comprehensive investigation reports
  • Manage the People Relations shared mailbox and act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, serving as subject matter expert on company policies and department procedures
  • Respond to unemployment claims by providing required documentation by specified deadlines
  • Remain up to date on multi-state employment law requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR
  • System experience with Workday and an employee relations case management system
