Pet Specialist

Summary

Join Lemonade as a Pet Specialist and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be part of the Pet claims experience team, ensuring efficient and delightful claim resolutions. Your responsibilities include adapting your support style to meet individual customer needs, showcasing your knowledge of pet insurance, identifying and addressing customer pain points, collaborating with Claims Advocates, and embodying Lemonade's values. You will be working remotely and will be responsible for providing clear and concise answers to claim questions and educating customers on claim outcomes.

Requirements

• Prior employment in veterinary medicine (small animal) or pet health insurance
• Experience using a customer-centric approach to de-escalate and problem solve
• Ability to work across multiple support channels, depending on business needs
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for outstanding customer experiences and education
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build customer confidence in our brand by showcasing deep knowledge of our pet insurance offering
• Identify and communicate critical pain points of our customer user experience, with a solution-oriented mindset
• Interact closely with our Claims Advocates to resolve open claims quickly
• Bring our values to life through your interactions, while building community across our teams and the company as a whole

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and programs at once (experience with Zendesk and Talkdesk, an advantage)
