Summary
Join a team of professionals as the Plant Manager at the Chastag RNG facility in Mt. Vernon, AL. Manage operations and maintenance, ensuring a safe and compliant environment. Plan, schedule, and implement maintenance, safety, and regulatory activities. Supervise site operators, troubleshoot operational problems, and oversee third-party contractors. Manage company SOPs, provide compliance data, and evaluate site data for regulatory compliance. Review engineering deliverables, assist in design reviews, and handle multiple projects. Determine and implement federal, state, and local requirements. Occasional travel to project sites may be required. Ability to work independently and remotely is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in engineering from an accredited University; Chemical Engineering degree preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience and or training
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Database and Project Management software, Mechanical, P&ID, and Electrical engineering design and concepts
- Solid experience with AutoCAD Design software
Responsibilities
- Supervise and management of site operators
- Troubleshoot and resolve the operational problems that arise
- Oversee third-party contractors who occasionally come to the site for major repairs and maintenance
- Manage and follow the companyโs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to LOTO, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), work permits, and Management of Change (MOC) program
- Provide and support the compliance and regulatory departments with site and pipeline data and activities that occur on a regular basis
- Evaluate site data to ensure compliance with programs and compliance such as LCFS, RINs Verification, TCEQ, EPA, RRC, and other entities requirements are met
- Reviews and checks engineering deliverables of 3rd party process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness while also reviewing for constructability and operability
- Assist in design reviews and evaluate potential design changes through the MOC program to ensure safe and effective changes are executed
- Able to handle multiple projects/tasks at the same time
- Determine and implement any federal, state and local requirements necessary for construction and operational activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
- Occasional traveling to various project sites to assist in major O&M activities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
Preferred Qualifications
- P&ID experience is strongly preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong preference
