Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in PR, communications, or media, ideally within B2B, tech, media, or events industries
• A killer media network - you know how to get coverage and have strong journalist relationships in the business, tech, and HR sectors
• High-speed, high-stakes comms experience —you can react fast, handle crisis comms, and own the message under pressure
• A proven track record of elevating brands through strategic PR, thought leadership, and high-impact storytelling
• Exceptional writing and editorial skills —you craft messages that cut through noise and drive engagement
• A newsroom mentality - you understand the media cycle, anticipate trends, and move at startup speed
• Experience supporting C-level executives with PR, thought leadership, and public appearances
• A global mindset, with experience driving international PR and comms strategies

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global PR strategy to increase media visibility, thought leadership, and brand authority
• Own and cultivate relationships with top-tier business, tech, and HR media outlets, securing high-impact coverage
• Manage proactive and reactive press communications, ensuring UNLEASH is the go-to voice for industry trends and insights
• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and executive statements that position UNLEASH at the forefront of the conversation
• Identify and capitalize on news cycles, ensuring our brand is visible, relevant, and influential in industry discussions
• Shape the CEO’s and leadership team’s external presence, developing high-impact thought leadership content, speeches, and interviews
• Secure speaking engagements and media interviews for the CEO and senior executives at top-tier industry events and conferences
• Build executive LinkedIn and social media presence, amplifying key messages and positioning UNLEASH as a market leader
• Lead PR and media strategy for UNLEASH conferences and tradeshows, ensuring maximum media coverage and brand impact
• Develop and execute a comms plan for major events, securing press attendance, partnerships, and media interviews
• Manage press briefings and media rooms at events, ensuring key journalists and analysts are engaged
• Own UNLEASH’s brand narrative, ensuring consistency across all communications channels
• Lead crisis communications, protecting and managing the brand’s reputation during high-pressure situations
• Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and partnerships teams to ensure brand messaging is aligned, bold, and effective
• Oversee the development of high-impact editorial and multimedia content that supports PR and communications goals
• Drive engagement across owned and earned media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and industry blogs
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure PR-driven stories are leveraged across news, social, and event platforms
