Summary
Join Ten Lifestyle Group as a Premium Travel Consultant in South Africa and craft unforgettable travel experiences for high-net-worth clients. You will provide exceptional service, manage bookings, and create bespoke itineraries. This role requires several years of experience in the travel industry, fluency in German and English, and strong GDS knowledge. The position offers a competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, remote work options, paid time off, and various employee benefits. Hybrid work is possible, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or equivalent training
- Several years of professional experience in the travel industry, tour operator or in a travel agency
- Fluent German, English, and French or Italian (any other language is an advantage)
- A pronounced passion for everything to do with travel and the luxurious lifestyle
- Interest in gastronomy, events and culture
- Strong communication skills and a love of providing excellent service and quality every day
- Value an extraordinary service offering and live by this motto
- Available on a full-time basis (minimum 80%)
- Solid GDS knowledge (preferably Amadeus) and excellent destination knowledge are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Advise our clients – premium cardholders – by phone and email in German and English
- Process customer inquiries from offer creation to billing of individual trips
- Make reservations with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies
- Create tailor-made offers and travel documents as well as develop travel plans
- Passionate consulting and mediation of travel experiences
- Active sales of special promotions and exclusive offers
