Summary
Join Centric Software's dynamic team as a Pre-sales Consultant for Retail Planning in Japan. Drive sales engagements, marketing, and business development by presenting Planning solutions and mapping customer needs. Collaborate with Professional Services on proposals and enhance the team's regional expertise. Contribute to requirements gathering for the Planning solution. This role involves analyzing customer needs, creating presentations, and preparing RFI/RFP responses. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, collaborative, and presentation skills, along with experience in software planning and retail planning processes.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar
- Be available for travel depending on location
- Possess Fashion / Specialty Retail Planning processes industry expertise
- Have significant experience with Software Planning, Optimization, and Analytics. Specifically, system demonstrations and presentation skills are needed
- Possess Technical Skills: knowledge of database and BI data science applications
- Have excellent presentation, and application demonstration skills with small or large audiences
- Have the ability to develop multi-level relationships of confidence and trust with customers and cross-functional colleagues
- Have the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving technology and commercial environment
- Have a track record of pre-sales success
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer business requirements as a basis for proposing Planning Solutions
- Collaborate with the rest of the Sales Team in qualifying prospects
- Be responsible for in-depth, broad-based pre-sales presentations of the entire Centric Planning Solution suite
- Configure Centric Software solutions that are fit for purpose through product presentations and supporting materials
- Produce written specifications (i.e. Solution Scope Documents and Use Case Documents) highlighting product features and benefits/value-add to customers to capture business process requirements for proposed solutions
- Analyze requirements and design solutions for complex customer requirements and their pain points
- Prepare response documentation for RFI/RFP requests
- Ensure clear understanding of customerβs technology requirements; providing support for Proposal and Project teams and technical leadership with a vision to win and deliver large-scale, complex solutions
- Provide input into future solution functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards
- Take part in marketing campaigns according to his/her understanding of markets and customer potential needs, ensuring that Sales pitches are also aligned
