Summary
Join Platform9 as an EMP Pre-Sales Engineer and drive the adoption of our EMP solution. You will engage with customers and partners, leveraging EMP's advanced scaling, automation, and cost optimization capabilities for AWS EKS. Key responsibilities include demonstrating deep knowledge of EMP's features, collaborating with account executives, designing and presenting complex solutions, assisting in proposal creation, providing feedback to product management, and leading software evaluations. This role requires expertise in AWS EKS, AWS CloudWatch, Karpenter, elastic scaling, Kubernetes, cost optimization, and multi-cloud/hybrid cloud environments. Strong communication and pre-sales experience are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Demo-To-Win/Tell-Show-Tell methodology and a minimum of 5 years of pre-sales engineering experience. The position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000-$200,000 base + variable + equity.

- Strong communication skills and experience in pre-sales activities. Ability to demonstrate products to prospects

- Qualify technical requirements required by prospect
- Proven track record on becoming a trusted technical advisor to prospects
- Minimum of 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of EMPโs elastic scaling, Kubernetes integration, and cost optimization features
- Collaborate with Platform9 Account Executives to support the sales cycle and articulate EMPโs value in multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Design and present complex solutions involving EMP, focusing on scaling, automation, and cost management
- Assist in proposal creation, pricing strategies, and respond to RFPs with a focus on EMP
- Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D, shaping EMPโs development based on market needs
- Lead software evaluations and POCs, demonstrating EMPโs capabilities to drive sales opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer experience with Demo-To-Win/Tell-Show-Tell methodology
