Summary

Join Snapsheet as a Remote Pre-Sales Engineer and partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and showcase the value of Snapsheet's SaaS platform. You will lead product demos, provide solution expertise, answer technical questions, and share prospect feedback to improve the platform. This role requires strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition and seamless adoption. Snapsheet offers a remote working environment, flexible PTO, and various development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Sales Engineering experience and a consultative, solution-focused approach.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Sales Engineering experience with a consultative, solution-focused approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to develop deep SaaS product expertise and tailor its value to diverse customer types
  • Comfortable leading discovery sessions, thinking on your feet, and crafting creative solutions based on customer needs
  • Skilled in building impactful PowerPoint presentations and written materials
  • Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and high energy
  • Quick to learn new enterprise software products

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team and channel partners to understand our customer's data pipeline needs, strategize on how to resolve problems, and support the sales and post-sale lifecycles
  • Provide engaging platform demonstrations for Snapsheet software prospects
  • Become an expert on the Snapsheet SaaS platforms and effectively communicate its value to customers and prospects
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales, Implementation, Product, Procurement, and Marketing in order to drive customer acquisition, seamless adoption, and well-defined project scope
  • Drive detailed understanding of the platform and its differentiating features
  • ���Make it real” for the customer to allow them to understand how the system would work for their organization
  • Be the detailed technical solution expert in the sales process
  • Understand customer needs and brainstorm solution and implementation options
  • Partner with Sales to develop and deliver proposals and RFPs
  • Provide guidance for improving our product gaps or limitations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance industry or claims experience
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS to insurance customers
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and APIs
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments and scaling B2B sales operations
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
