Pre-Sales Engineer, POC

Summary

Join NetBrain's Pre-Sales Engineering team as a remote Pre-Sales Engineer, Proof of Concept, focusing on Network Management and Automation. You will be instrumental in closing major deals with Fortune 100 companies by showcasing NetBrain's network automation solutions. This role involves designing and implementing proof-of-concept projects, collaborating with sales teams, and managing the entire PoC process. You will need to gather client requirements, present tailored solutions, and document PoC outcomes. Success in this position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to solve complex technical issues. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role within IT or network automation, including hands-on experience with network design, network operation and/or network architect
• Proven ability to design, execute, and manage complex POC that demonstrate product value
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• You are willing and able to work Pacific Time business hours

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements and present tailored solutions that address their network challenges
• Design and implement proof of concept (PoC) projects, showcasing the full capabilities of our network automation solutions
• Collaborate with the Pre-Sales Engineers and Account Executives to document client current manual processes, understand client automation needs, and customize POC to meet and deliver specific requirements and use cases
• Manage the end-to-end PoC process, including planning, configuration, use cases deployment, and evaluation
• Provide technical assistance during PoC engagements, collaborate with Support Engineers, R&D Engineers, and Post-sales Engineers to ensure quick issue resolution
• Summarize PoC outcomes, create detailed documentation of PoC configurations, use cases deployment, and ROI metrics
• Any other responsibilities assigned

Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred

• For this role, the estimated total on-target earnings is between $130,000 - $170,000 + Stock Options
