Presales Solution Architect

Join Datacom's Presales and Architecture team in Brisbane as a Solution Architect. You will drive the adoption of Datacom's IT solutions, focusing on Managed Services and IT outsourcing. Lead technical pre-sales activities, work with sales, vendors, and clients, and create compelling solution designs. Present solutions to clients, create technical documentation, and mentor the team. Requirements

• Extensive experience working in complex enterprise scale environments
• Strong understanding of Managed Services and IT Outsourcing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive productive relationships
• Consultative approach and the ability to influence senior management and project leaders
• Broad technical background in the Infrastructure and Managed Services spectrum
• Previous experience in developing and delivering enterprise solutions to Government clients in a managed services contractual environment
• Proficient in commercial and contract management including pricing strategies
• Extensive experience in preparing bid reports, RFP, RFI and other tendering documents
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the applicability of Architectural frameworks, with relevant certifications
• Deep understanding of the ITIL framework

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Datacom's wide range of solutions
• Create and promote innovative solutions across Datacom's IT Service offerings, with a large focus on Managed Services and IT outsourcing solutions
• Lead the technical pre-sales scoping and costing of solution engagements
• Work directly with sales specialists, vendors, and clients to produce compelling, fit for purpose concepts and designs using a wide range of technology
• Become fully immersed in the client’s technical environment to make the best recommendations
• Lead workshops and create technical documentation to ensure all parties are clear on the technology roadmap
• Mentor and upskill the team, and take charge of projects

Preferred Qualifications

Australian Citizenship and can obtain Australian Government Baseline clearance
