Join Remote as a Principal, Business Development - Remote Embedded and make a difference in the global employment space. You will be responsible for securing large, strategic deals for Remote Embedded, a partner API technology enabling partners to integrate Remote's hiring and payment capabilities. This role involves recruiting technology partners, generating demand at the C-level, developing business development tactics, and negotiating deal terms. The position requires significant experience in business development and sales within the HR, fintech, or B2B software industry, along with proven success in closing multi-year deals. Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience in business development / sales / strategic partnerships in the HR, fintech or B2B software/technology industry, of which 2+ years in engaging with C-level stakeholders
- Proven trackrecord of developing and closing multi-year deals in a partner driven GTM strategy
- Seasoned in communicating and negotiating with C-level counterparts; ability to orchestrate C-level engagement internally & externally
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders across levels and functions in prospect organizations
- Operating independently with minimal day-to-day guidance in a high growth environment
- Able to dive deep to address partner questions in a wide range of topics (e.g. Product, Engineering, GTM, operations, legal, risk, compliance)
- Exceptional commercial acumen and follow through with clients and prospects
- Superior verbal, written and presentation skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Responsibilities
- Recruit technology partners to implement and resell Remote to their customer base via the Remote Embedded solution
- Generate awareness and demand at C-level stakeholders in target prospects, engaging the right stakeholders at the right time with the right message
- Develop and execute targeted business development tactics for prioritized βmust-winβ accounts; build and maintain relationships at targeted accounts, at all levels of seniority
- Build compelling business case and implementation roadmap, pro-actively address potential objections, build prospect confidence in Remote
- Own deal execution, leading all aspects including deal qualification, strategic and product assessment, transaction structuring and negotiation
- Negotiate deal terms that ensure sustainable economics and aligned incentives
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop and refine customer facing collaterals and targeted marketing outreach
- Orchestrate involvement of Remote execs and internal stakeholders as appropriate (across Product, Engineering, Operations, CX, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and more)
- Collect and communicate actionable partner and customer feedback to Remoteβs Product, Engineering, and other teams
