Join PandaDoc and lead the charge in building a brand-new AI and Gen-AI layer across our platform. As a Principal Product Manager, you will have the freedom to innovate, focusing on customer needs and shaping the future of AI in our product. You will own the customer-facing AI product, work iteratively, deeply understand our customers, collaborate with designers, and spread the vision across teams. This role requires experience building and launching AI/Gen-AI products in a B2B SaaS environment, expertise in AI technologies, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer-centric design. Requirements
- You’ve done this before. Ideally, you’ve built and launched AI/Gen-AI products at a B2B SaaS company, especially one serving SMBs
- You’re an expert in AI. You understand the challenges, limitations, and nuances of AI and Gen-AI technologies, and you know how to apply them effectively to solve real-world problems
- You thrive in uncertainty. You’re comfortable navigating a high level of ambiguity, turning big questions into actionable strategies and plans
- You’re a great communicator. You can translate complexity into clarity, whether you’re talking to customers, engineers, or designers
- You love working with customers. You know how to connect with users, understand their needs, and turn insights into impactful solutions
- You care about design. You have a strong sense of user experience and know how to deliver products that not only solve problems but delight users
- You’re ready to build something big. This is not a small project—you’ll play a key role in defining how AI shapes the future of PandaDoc and the success of our customers
Responsibilities
- Own the customer-facing AI product: Decide where AI fits best in our current product, brainstorm new AI-first features, and work closely with engineers and designers to bring them to life
- Work iteratively: Launch small, impactful iterations that deliver value quickly, learning and improving with every release
- Understand our customers deeply: Talk to them, observe their challenges, and figure out how AI can make their lives easier
- Bring design and UX to life: Work closely with designers to make sure our products don’t just work—they feel intuitive, elegant, and built for real people
- Spread the vision: Collaborate with marketing, product marketing, and sales to craft a compelling story around what we’re building, making sure our customers and the market understand the value we’re delivering
