Principal Product Manager

Summary

Join Productboard's Scale tribe as a Product Lead - Platform & Ecosystem to shape the platform strategy and build the API platform. Lead the API platform team, collaborating with engineers and making prioritization decisions. Engage with external developers and customers to identify new use cases and opportunities. Evangelize the platform vision and collaborate across teams to ensure contributions to the platform strategy. Gather user feedback and contribute to building products that matter. This role requires 5+ years of product management experience, an engineering background, mastery of the product development process, deep empathy with developers, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead our API platform team, working closely with engineers on developing our open platform
• Manage our API roadmap and make tough prioritization decisions - think big, but also enable quick solutions
• Engage with external developers, partners, and customers to learn about new use cases and opportunities
• Evangelize our platform vision so that our organization is aligned and has all the context for what we are building
• Collaborate across teams to ensure all product teams are able to contribute to our platform strategy
• Get user feedback and love ❤️

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on a complex platform product, developer products, APIs, etc
• B2B SaaS experience
