Compensation is directly handled by the client, with salary ranging from $900 to $1100.
Requirements
- Proven experience in providing support to Senior Administrators in a project-oriented environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement software or databases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability collaborate professionally with all team members
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to the Senior Purchaser in the procurement process, including but not limited to, creating materials lists, coordinating lead times, and ordering samples as required
- Prepare accurate submittal cover sheets and label forms, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements
- Utilize spec intel programs proficiently to compile and distribute electronic submittal packages of various sizes and complexities
- Various vendor communications such as tracking orders, obtaining lead times, etc, and communicating back to the Senior Purchaser
- Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery confirmations
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Senior Purchaser, including managing correspondence and organizing files
- Ability to provide overall support to other departments of the company as time permits
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction or procurement processes is advantageous
- Additional certification or training in procurement, project management, or office administration is beneficial
