Product Analyst Intern

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a quantitative or analytically focused degree
• Rising juniors and seniors graduating December 2025 or later
• Interested to begin a career with a focus on statistical analysis and/or product management
• Analytically minded with a sharp eye for details
• High-energy and high-impact individual who is enthusiastic to learn new concepts
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a commitment to self-development
• Strong written or verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate in front of others

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to State Product Management by evaluating impacts of business changes, proposing solutions to business challenges, doing competitive analysis, and forecasting revenue
• Work on a capstone project throughout the summer related to insurance product management that requires the use of real data, analytical tools and software, and then present the story behind the numbers to senior management
• Receive career development and support from an assigned mentor to grow your statistical and analytical skills and business acumen
• Gain exposure to large datasets using tools such as SAS, Snowflake, SQL, and various statistical programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

Previous exposure or experience with coding and/or statistical software
