Requirements

  • 10+ years as a business analyst, with 5+ years in product analytics, preferably with mobile apps
  • 5+ years leading analytics teams, with 3+ years leading product analytics teams specifically
  • Demonstrated skills in leading both individual contributors and people managers
  • Success in hiring, developing and retaining top talent
  • Proficiency in modern data analysis tools and programming languages including SQL and Python
  • Extensive experience with A/B testing and A/B testing platforms
  • Proficiency with BI and reporting platforms
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, strategic product roadmaps, and feature-level optimization that drive customer engagement and retention
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in presenting insights to stakeholders including your CPO business partner, other company executives, and senior leaders across the company
  • Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions to improve product performance and strategy
  • Exceptional ability to balance need to dive deep with speed to market of insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as statistics, computer science or mathematics

Responsibilities

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the Chief Product Officer and their staff
  • Be a key member of the product leadership team responsible for helping drive strategy and execution, data-driven insights and reporting and experimentation tools
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product data to derive actionable insights and inform tactical and strategic decisions of the product
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and as a vocal thought leader in the product and analytics domain
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring a clear alignment with business objectives
  • Take a consultative and hands-on approach to enable both analytics and product teams
  • Help build and execute a compelling, high-quality roadmap with a sense of urgency
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and data platform teams to integrate data-driven insights into the product development process
  • Develop and communicate product goals, strategies, and key performance metrics in collaboration with other departments
  • Support product/feature level experimentation that enables cross-functional teams to carry out properly designed and instrumented experiments and measurements
  • Interface with top executives and stakeholders to present findings with compelling data narratives and drive data-informed decisions
  • Advance analytic reporting and experimentation tools to better support product and customer experience initiatives
  • Define and enhance key product metrics for the business
  • Design underlying data structures to support
  • Develop reporting and dashboards that measure performance and productionalize operations insights
