Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a product, marketing, or tech environment
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail
  • Strong ability to write in a clear, concise, and conversational tone
  • Basic understanding of UX writing principles and how to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Passion for mental health and a desire to positively impact people’s lives
  • Ability to work independently, take feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Create impactful copy for NOCD’s app, website, texts, and emails, ensuring a consistent, Member-first tone and voice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write user-friendly, action-oriented content that aligns with NOCD’s mission and brand values
  • Develop microcopy for in-app experiences, including buttons, tooltips, and error messages, to guide and inform Members and therapists
  • Contribute to campaigns promoting new features, services, and educational content within the NOCD platform
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all touchpoints
  • Conduct user research to understand Member and Therapist needs and refine communication and terms accordingly
  • Stay informed about OCD and mental health topics to create empathetic and relevant communications

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with tools like Figma, Slack, and project management software
