Summary
Join Truss, a remote-first organization, as a contract Product Manager to contribute to the modernization of the HUD Exchange web portal. Collaborate with HUD employees and contractors on creating a new feature request system, re-platforming, and content migration. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, KPIs, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and work prioritization. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, agile experience, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams. The contract runs through January 2026, with a potential for conversion to a full-time position. This fully remote position requires a Mac OS, webcam, and reliable internet.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience as a Product Manager with agile development teams
- Comfortable building and managing product roadmaps
- Ability to prioritize work without direct authority
- Experience engaging with stakeholders in a consultative fashion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and responsive problem solver
- Dependable wi-fi connection, proficient in mac, slack, zoom
- Must live/work in the contiguous U.S
- Must be able to obtain (Public Trust) Clearance
- You must be eligible to work in the U.S. and may be required to pass a federal background check at the discretion of the client/project you are placed on
- Truss employees and contractors must live and work within the continental U.S. or one of its territories
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the product roadmap
- Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics
- Facilitate weekly backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Continuously facilitate appropriate prioritization of the teamβs work
Benefits

- $95 - $103 an hour
