Summary
Join CookUnity's Brand Marketing team as a Product Marketing leader to drive the positioning, adoption, and use of our expanding product suite. You will own the development of a detailed customer lifecycle journey and lead the product GTM process. Collaborate with Product, Portfolio, Chef Success, Growth Marketing, and Business Operations teams. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and data-driven decision-making to craft compelling propositions and maximize retention rates. You will lead and integrate across owned, earned, and paid channels to build brand presence. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of product marketing experience at premium consumer or technology brands and a proven ability to develop impactful strategies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product marketing experience with proven ability to develop effective and impactful strategies that fuel business growth and brand affinity
- Experience at premium consumer and/or technology brands with a track record of launching captivating product marketing work
- Analytical experience with a high degree of comfort in assessing and synthesizing data to inform strategic decisions and utilizing data to inform next actions with cross functional partners
- Experience managing marketing budgets including developing impact projections and reporting performance and insights relative to investment actuals
- Growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, operating with a bias for action and will to figure things out with minimal oversight
- A skillful communicator and analytical thinker who can turn insights and strategy into inspiring storytelling and customer value
- Highly collaborative and comfortable partnering, influencing, and aligning with cross-functional partners including those in technical roles
- Experience and high degree of comfort executing and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- BA/BS Degree
Responsibilities
- Lead the βBrand Experience Squadβ with ownership for product marketing and all strategies/initiatives related to increasing product comprehension, differentiation, product/feature adoption, retention, and customer LTV
- Work to deeply understand our customers and their needs, utilizing these insights to inspire/drive future product roadmaps in support of exceeding customer expectations, supporting company positioning, and achieving best-in-class product benchmarks
- Partner with product, portfolio, and chef success to position current and future offerings to reinforce CookUnityβs marketplace ambitions and maximize audience resonance
- Assess marketplace liquidity to ensure optimal supply for CookUnity subscriber satisfaction and retention, playing a leadership role in informing product development roadmaps
- Lead the development of a clear, compelling narrative framework, defining the role of our digital product, features, meals, and chefs in aligning/reinforcing CU's overall positioning
- Lead (and refine) our launch process (intake, prioritization, calendar, seasonal releases, etc) to drive more efficient & impactful product marketing GTM (awareness, understanding, adoption, engagement)
- Monitor and assess incremental impact of launching new products, experiences and familiarity with testing methodologies to uncover and attribute meaningful insights across launch performance, product health, customer retention, and customer satisfaction metric
- Lead an emerging creator LTO strategy partnering with top talent profiles to extend our reach and relevance among high-value audiences
- Ensure priority products and their distinct value to customers are present and highlighted in all marketing across Growth and Brand activations
- Own the continued development, refinement, and activation of a comprehensive user journey, considering all possible touch points for engagement and merchandising
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years people management experience
- MS/MBA Degree
- Experience with marketplace brands or working across consumer and creator audiences is a plus
