Summary

Join Datacom as a Product Marketing Manager and lead the execution of the SaaS product marketing strategy in the ANZ market. Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing success. Develop compelling product positioning and messaging, aligning with customer value propositions. Work closely with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to execute strategies and growth initiatives. Conduct research to gather insights about customer needs and market trends. Improve product adoption and build rapport with key stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor insights, and product technicalities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years proven experience in the creation and development of product marketing messaging and content, ideally in a technology company
  • A strong understanding of B2B SaaS and the go-to-market function
  • A creative mindset and a keen eye for visually appealing content aligned to commercial outcomes
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-first language and compelling SaaS content
  • Sales enablement creation capability
  • Ability to quickly develop product and competitor knowledge, ideally with a strong technical background
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relay key value proposition messages and content to sales teams, customers, agencies, and external communications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers and segments, effectively communicates SaaS product value, and stands out from competitors
  • Ensure that product positioning and messaging align with customer value propositions across the entire SaaS portfolio
  • Work closely with GTM to execute go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment and execution at the commercial, product and customer level
  • Oversee the execution of product and feature launches in close collaboration with GTM, ensuring successful go-to-market activities in alignment with business objectives
  • Lead research efforts to continuously gather insights about customer needs, competitors, and market trends to refine product messaging and drive product success
  • Improve the adoption of products, tools and experiences, ensuring they continue to meet agreed usage metrics
  • Build rapport with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing stakeholders and ensure a product marketing lens is considered and executed through key programs of work
