Summary
Join Ellevation Education as their Product Marketing Manager and play an integral role in their Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Collaborate with various teams to drive GTM efforts for emerging assessment products, from early development to commercial launch. Lead messaging development, create marketing campaigns, and ensure sales and customer success teams are well-prepared. Shape the market feedback process and act as a key partner to both R&D and commercial teams. Requirements
- Experience - 5+ years of marketing, product marketing, or product management experience, ideally in a senior capacity (Note: This role will not initially have a people management responsibility)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate across commercial and R&D teams to inform product vision, define positioning and coordinate GTM strategy from early in the development cycle through to launch
- Lead messaging development for Ellevation’s emerging assessment product, and lead the communication and activities required to build knowledge of new-to-market initiatives
- Develop marketing campaigns and programs to build awareness and adoption of new and existing features across Ellevation’s products
- Ensure that Sales and Customer Success teams are fully prepared to sell to and support educational partners, including development and presentation of enablement materials and training programs
- Shape the market <> product feedback process for Ellevation’s assessment product, acting as a key partner to both R&D and commercial teams
- Learn about our core products, understand the key value propositions and differentiating characteristics of each, as well as their respective near-term release plans
- Build understanding of Ellevation’s approach to our emerging assessment offering and meet with key R&D partners to build knowledge of our product strategies
- Build relationships with key business partners, laying a foundation for your work together
- Observe customer-facing engagements and presentations and start to understand the voice of the customer
- Start to support the Director of Product Marketing and functional teams as needed
- Establish yourself as the lead and go-to person on your respective product
- Regularly collaborate with functional team members (Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales) on new GTM activities and processes
- Develop positioning and marketing resources to support product vision and strategy for emerging offerings
- Begin to manage partner and internal stakeholder communications independently
- Actively collaborate and lead conversations with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success in representing the voice of the customer, translating customer feedback into actionable insights, implementing new enablement programs, and helping prioritize R&D decisions
- Be deeply immersed in standing up programs/resources to support product adoption and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the wants and needs of our various user personas and how our product is used to improve their lives (district admins, EL specialists, classroom teachers, students)
- Bring a strong Product Marketing point of view and voice of the customer to all next steps in product development and positioning
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with EdTEch and/or SaaS products
- An interest in K12 education policy and/or effective local and state government
