Summary
Join Ledger Investing, a Y Combinator-backed startup transforming insurance risk financing, as a Product Marketing Manager. You will lead go-to-market strategies and marketing initiatives for a new product, driving adoption and revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product positioning and messaging. Responsibilities include developing GTM strategies, conducting market research, crafting value propositions, and executing integrated marketing campaigns. You will also manage product launches and analyze campaign performance. The role reports to the head of the product team and requires significant experience in product marketing, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or insurance.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a product marketing manager, preferably in fintech, SaaS, and/or insurance environments
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Experience successfully launching a new digital product, preferably in a startup environment
- Experience with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, analytics, automation)
- Strong ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing plans. Expertise in positioning and messaging that resonates with diverse audiences
- Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to analyze performance metrics and user insights to inform marketing strategies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories, influence others, and collaborate across teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Collaborative leader with a knack for aligning cross-functional stakeholders and influencing outcomes
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new and existing products, including audience segmentation, positioning, messaging, and multi-channel campaign management
- Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer interviews to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities. Use insights to shape product positioning and marketing strategies
- Craft compelling value propositions, key messaging, and differentiation strategies tailored to various buyer personas and market segments
- Partner with Engineering and Design teams to align product and marketing roadmaps. Influence product development by representing the voice of the customer
- Lead integrated campaigns that span digital marketing, content creation, events, and sales enablement to drive awareness, acquisition, and retention
- Equip business development efforts with tools, training, and resources, including presentations, battle cards, and product guides, to effectively communicate product value
- Monitor campaign performance and user metrics to optimize strategies and ensure ROI. Provide actionable recommendations based on data
- Manage end-to-end launch plans, including communication strategies, client-facing materials, and internal readiness
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Certification in Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance is a plus
- Familiarity with (re)insurance and/or financial reporting products
