Summary

Join Stripe's Product Marketing team as a Product Marketing Manager and define the narratives shaping Stripe's global perception. This impactful, cross-functional role blends product, marketing, and sales, requiring you to develop Stripe's overarching narrative, support major product launches, and enhance user understanding of Stripe's portfolio. Collaborate with various teams to prioritize target segment needs, shape user experience, and evolve Stripe's external product architecture messaging. Own the public-facing product roadmap and craft Stripe's core sales narrative, ensuring it's tailored to different customer types. Coordinate major launch moments and act as a brand steward, ensuring portfolio storytelling reflects Stripe's ambitions. This role demands strong communication, strategic thinking, data orientation, organizational skills, ambition, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience that can span marketing, product marketing, growth marketing or product management
  • At least 3-5 years of marketing or go-to-market experience
  • Experience working on marketing or growth throughout a SaaS product's lifecycle
  • Experience working in B2B settings and with sales teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop Stripe’s overarching narrative
  • Support major product launches
  • Help users and customers understand Stripe’s complete portfolio
  • Partner with PMM, Design, Engineering, Growth and Product teams to understand and help prioritize the needs of our target segments, understand their needs and shape user experience across our site
  • Lead and evolve Stripe’s external product architecture messaging, ensuring it reflects how users think and how our portfolio is evolving
  • Own the public-facing product roadmap, partnering with PMMs, Product Ops, and Product to define what we share, how, and when
  • Craft and maintain Stripe’s core sales narrative, ensuring it’s simple, cohesive, and tailored to different customer types and sales conversations
  • Coordinate major launch moments, including those tied to Stripe Sessions and Stripe Tour, to deliver cohesive narratives across channels (sales, web, comms, etc)
  • Partner with teams across the company, including Product, PMM, Sales, Design, and Comms, to bring our product stories to life
  • Be a steward of Stripe’s brand, ensuring our portfolio storytelling reflects our ambitions and core strengths

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with the startup founder or developer audience is preferred but not required
