Summary

Join Toast's Product Marketing team and help shape the go-to-market strategy for a fast-growing portfolio of financial products, including Toast Capital. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will partner with various teams to launch new offerings, build effective messaging, and drive awareness, adoption, and retention. You will lead initiatives spanning product positioning, customer research, campaign planning, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate has experience launching and scaling products, leading cross-functional initiatives, and using insights to inform both near-term tactics and long-term strategy. This role offers substantial senior leadership exposure and the opportunity to drive long-term customer and shareholder value at a hyper-growth company. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, operational roles, finance, sales and strategy consulting β€” ideally in B2B banking, lending and/or fintech
  • History of creating highly engaging and creative life-cycle engagement strategies for financial services products
  • Strong ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations across a fast-growing organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading cross-functional partnerships with diverse teams to develop strategic plans and achieve desired goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to combine complex content into a clear and cohesive story to gain both internal and external buy-in
  • Data-minded with strong analytical capabilities
  • Proven ability to uncover and deeply understand the needs and desires of customers and translate those learnings into product and go-to-market strategies

Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market strategy, launch processes, and stakeholder management, and influence product development and positioning for new embedded fintech products and features
  • Advocate as the voice of our customer, and partner with product and finance teams to develop key initiatives to drive efficient product adoption
  • Become a market and industry expert on key financial products, and use customer and market research to inform both product and GTM strategy
  • Take ownership of conversion and adoption metrics and GTM performance, and implement cross-functional plans to drive improvements
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Customer Success to drive sales productivity through product knowledge transfer, seller collateral, and value-based talk tracks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Inbound and outbound product marketing experience, such as researching and launching new products/features and developing segment-targeted positioning and messaging for a multi-product technology platform
  • Experience in B2B sales enablement
  • Experience writing thought leadership blog content
  • Experience with Salesforce and SQL
  • Previous restaurant industry experience
