Professional Services Consultant

Summary

Join insightsoftware as a Professional Services Consultant! This customer-facing role requires a highly experienced technical architect to design, develop, configure, and support integrations with insightsoftware’s Agility PIM software, primarily using Hitachi's Pentaho ETL tool. You will interact with clients, analyze their needs, and create customized solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues are key responsibilities. The role demands strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Success in this position involves completing a comprehensive training program and progressively taking on more complex integration tasks within the first six months.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Hitachi Pentaho (6-10 years)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL (6-10 years)
• Utilization of web services/APIs, consuming JSON/XML data (third party integrations) (6-10 years)
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design (6-10 years)
• Understanding of data modelling best practices
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to analyze their requirements and create customized solutions
• Work with client and Agility PIM SME to scope, design and implement novel custom technical solutions that meet client goals
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing actionable solutions and anticipating future challenges
• Work primarily (but not exclusively) using the Pentaho ETL tool

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure and/or experience with PIM, MDM, DAM or other related solutions a plus
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Adobe InDesign, Javascript, or nodeJS a plus
• Experience with estimating and project planning preferred
• Experience working in a multi-client setting highly preferred
