Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree desired and one (1) year of professional experience strongly preferred
- A degree focused on public health, public policy, or a related discipline preferred. In lieu of a bachelorβs degree, three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a nonprofit or start-up environment will be considered
- Ability to identify and synthesize large amounts of information with strong commitment to providing the highest possible quality content
- Ability to balance multiple complex workstreams and experience developing project plans
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with people from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and settings
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager, National Stigma Initiative with project and relationship management for current and forthcoming campaigns
- Participate in the formative research phase and launch of the forthcoming North Carolina stigma campaign β conducting community-based organization (CBO) needs assessments and drafting narratives that summarize findings and inform campaign strategy
- Identify and conduct outreach to community-based organizations for campaign partnership. Once onboarded, determine opportunities to actively engage campaign partner base
- Support the testimonial collection process from end-to-end, including recruiting storytellers and acting as the liaison with the story sharer. Review and implement best practices for interviewing and testimonial collection
- Lead Community Impact Committee (CIC) recruitment and onboarding efforts and provide ongoing management of the established committee once operationalized
- Facilitate committee meetings as needed and liaise with the project team to offer committee feedback
- Attend meetings with the oversight/funding partner, keeping detailed meeting notes. Assist with reporting on milestone progress as delineated by contract
- Facilitate the planning of events and communication, including webinars, trainings, newsletters, and partner toolkits
- Strategize with the team regarding content and engagement. Execute collection of community content and participate in supporting organic content engagement
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager, National Stigma Initiative
