Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years managing a sales kickoff event.ย Must have direct experience with SKO development, logistics and content creation and management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Sales enablement experience is required
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation and messaging for various audiences
- Proficiency in communication tools (e.g., Slack, G-Suite) and program management software such as Monday or Asana
- Experience utilizing training development tools such as Rise or Articulate, as well as audio and video editing software and AI tools such as Chat GPT or Gemini
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Developing the sales events and communications strategy
- Creating a twice-yearly events and communications strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive events and communications strategy that supports the sales team. This includes creating, planning and managing sales communications methods and events that engage, inform, and empower the sales team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing and Operations to create targeted communication campaigns that align with business goals, drive product awareness, and enhance sales team performance
- Ensure that all events and communications are aligned with the overall sales strategy and effectively convey key messages to stakeholders
- Continuously assess, refine and evolve the strategy based on feedback and evolving business needs to maximize impact and ROI
- Monthly Sales All-Hands Meetings: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the monthly sales all-hands meetings, including agenda development, speaker coordination, content creation, and follow-up communications
- Weekly Management Podcasts: Oversee the production and distribution of weekly management podcasts, ensuring relevant content is delivered to the sales team in a timely and engaging manner
- Launch Support: Collaborate with the various enablement leaders to develop the communications portion of the enablement plan to support launches that occur throughout the year.ย Examples range from large scale Tier 1 annual product launches to small scale Tier 3 internal process changes.ย This role will create and define communications strategies that
- Ongoing Notifications: Manage ongoing communication with the sales team through Slack, email, and other internal channels, ensuring key updates, announcements, and resources are effectively disseminated
- Annual Sales Kickoff: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the annual sales kickoff, including venue selection, agenda development, speaker coordination, content creation, logistics management and budget development and management
- Sales Events: Manage other sales events throughout the year, such as regional sales meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities, ensuring alignment with overall sales enablement strategy
