Summary

Join Hillel International's Center for Student & Staff Wellbeing as a Program Manager to empower Hillel professionals in cultivating a vibrant Jewish future. This role blends strategic thinking with tactical implementation, driving impact across the Hillel movement. You will strengthen movement-wide impact, manage grant processes, facilitate workshops, synthesize insights, and build sustainable systems. The position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and strong skills in project management, grant management, and facilitation. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, grants management, program facilitation, or a related field, with a strong track record of success in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Experience working with college students in campus, community-based, or camp settings, emphasizing relationship-building and creating meaningful experiences
  • Systems & process proficiency: The ability to design, refine, and reinforce sustainable processes that improve team workflows, grant administration, and program impact
  • Curiosity & customer service orientation: You approach your work with a problem-solving mindset, deep listening, and a commitment to service — ensuring stakeholders feel supported and valued
  • Communication & storytelling skills: You can synthesize complex information into clear, compelling reports and success stories for Hillel professionals, stakeholders, and funders
  • Familiarity with Jewish well-being: An appreciation for how Jewish tradition and community shape well-being, with a commitment to fostering inclusive, accessible environments for students and professionals alike
  • Facilitation & training experience: You don’t need to be a subject-matter expert, but you excel at guiding discussions, designing learning experiences, and leading engaging group sessions
  • Commitment to inclusion: A demonstrated ability to build spaces that embrace diverse identities and experiences. Your pluralistic approach to Jewish life ensures all voices are valued
  • Capacity & team awareness: You proactively assess personal and team dynamics, ensuring sustainable practices that balance multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen movement-wide impact by facilitating consultations and ensuring Hillel professionals can access expert guidance
  • Manage and improve grant processes that fuel well-being innovation across campuses—refining systems for application, tracking, and impact reporting
  • Facilitate dynamic workshops and group discussions, supporting professional learning and best practice-sharing
  • Synthesize and share key insights — elevating success stories, tracking impact, and creating engaging reports for Hillel professionals, stakeholders, and funders
  • Build and reinforce sustainable systems to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates based in Eastern or Central time zones to facilitate team collaboration
