Summary
Join Masabi, a global leader in fare payment technology, as a Program Manager to lead the rollout of our next-generation fare payments app to over 60 transit agencies within 12 months. You will oversee the migration from our existing solution to a new platform, ensuring a smooth and timely delivery. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, establishing governance frameworks, and maintaining open communication. The position is remote and available to candidates based in Colombia only. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a master program plan, breaking down the rollout into manageable phases, aligning resources, and facilitating planning and prioritization. Success in this role requires strong program/project management experience, particularly in app or software deployment, along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program or project management, ideally in app or software deployment
- Strong understanding of project planning tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
- Familiar with deployment processes, technical environments, and quality assurance
- Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a master program plan for the 12-month rollout, covering timelines, dependencies, and milestones across all 60+ agency migrations
- Break down the rollout into manageable deployment phases, creating templates and structures to support consistency and efficiency
- Align internal resources and agency commitments to keep the overall program on track
- Coordinate delivery across Product, Engineering, Launch Operations, Professional Services, Customer Success, Account Management, and Marketing teams
- Facilitate planning and prioritisation, and work through issues collaboratively to help remove blockers and maintain progress
- Establish clear governance structures that enable timely decisions and cross-team coordination
- Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely updates
- Identify and communicate risks and interdependencies early, proactively managing escalations to avoid delays
- Ensure all deployments meet quality standards and align with business objectives
- Produce concise, regular reports highlighting progress, risks, and upcoming priorities for senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in app development or software technology projects
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile
- Knowledge of change management and business analysis principles
