Summary

Aspen Publishing is seeking a Project Manager to work in partnership with various departments to deliver on the mission of the JD-Next team. The role involves managing projects related to an online course and high-stakes law school entrance exam. Preference will be given to Boston based candidates but remote work may be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 8-10+ years related experience, preferably in the testing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoho, CMS, NetSuite, SharePoint, MS Project or similar project management tool
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational, budgeting, and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality, meet deadlines, analyze issues and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful project execution, manage resources, and achieve project goals for a successful family of JD-Next products
  • Identify project objectives, goals, processes, policies, and timelines, and communicate them to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Develop and implement project and program plans and evaluations, including timelines, milestones, and required resources
  • Coordinate with various managers and personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage 3rd party vendors and consultants, and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and management to ensure project alignment with current testing industry regulations as well as project and company goals
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and quality assurance
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess impacts and outcomes of initiatives to identify and implement efficiencies in processes and policies
  • Assist with research and data collection plans
  • Liaise with customers, course assistants, and others as needed to support course delivery and student experience
  • Coordinate needs assessment, market research, and development planning to inform creation and revision of course and resource content of JD-Next course
  • Assist with production quality assurance related to JD-Next course
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of testing, data collection and analysis, research practices is a plus
