Project Manager

Summary

Join NBCUniversal’s Media Operations as a Project Manager to lead key initiatives across the department. You will manage technical infrastructure improvements, workflow migrations, and new channel/service launches. This role requires leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with vendors, and utilizing project management best practices. You will work closely with media technologies and drive the department’s supply chain transformation. The position is remote and offers a hybrid work model.

Requirements

• 5 years of work experience in broadcast or a media-related field
• 3 years of experience managing projects in a broadcast or media-related field
• Proven track record of effectively managing tasks and tracking issues in a technical operation
• Experience leading project meetings and delivering executive-level presentations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence cross-functional project teams across Operations, Product, and Engineering
• Align closely with third-party vendors to deliver business-critical initiatives
• Develop a working knowledge of how the operation works to drive the department’s supply chain transformation strategy
• Use project management best practices such as task lists, issues lists, and project timelines
• Host meetings, document workflows, develop test matrices, and oversee UAT
• Be responsible for all project updates and communication to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Be accountable, manage all critical project details, and display high levels of ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree from a 4-year college or university
• 3 years of formal project management experience, preferably in broadcast or a media-related field
• Experience with file-based workflows
• Experience with cloud-based technologies
• Experience with IT networking, preferably in a broadcast setting
