Summary

The job description is for two project management roles at OpenTEAM, a community focused on increasing food system resiliency in the face of climate change. The roles are focused on farmer-driven data stewardship and Ag Data Infrastructure. The Project Manager will be responsible for executing projects that support the collaborative visioning and development of trusted data exchange for farmers, ensuring timely delivery of projects related to farmer consent-driven data management, maintaining project tracking in management softwares, facilitating collaborative approaches to scoping and developing interoperable data frameworks, data use agreements, and design specifications, maintaining regular check ins with core technical partners, supporting grant reporting and budgetary oversight, and collaborating with other members of the team to establish scopes of work across the community of stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in project management
• Interest and excitement about agricultural research methods and data collection, data management and modeling, human-centered design processes, and agricultural technology
• Experience managing technical partners and project scopes, with an emphasis toward development outputs
• Experience working toward a shared vision with diverse teams of tech developers, scientists, and nonprofit leaders
• Comfort with communicating complex technical or agricultural processes to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated passion for food systems change
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a growing team and develop effective working relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• People management / team leadership experience
• Experience coordinating and / or facilitating cross-organization collaborations
