Project Manager in Japan

Summary

The job is for a Project Manager at Solacom who will manage projects to provide continuous value to customers while minimizing risk. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including engineers, business developers, product managers, marketers, legal teams, and telecommunications companies. The project manager will lead the implementation of projects across different positions and regions, refining requirements, defining architecture, determining release scope, and making decisions about development process, development, and operations.

Requirements

• Experience with Agile development
• 3 years of experience in system construction project management
• 3 years of experience working with a team that partially communicates in English

Responsibilities

• Form consensus with stakeholders on project scope and schedule
• Communicate requirements and issues to stakeholders, ensuring engineers understand the project scope
• Identify and address daily business challenges and organizational issues within the engineering team
• Facilitate ceremonies in agile development
• Resolve troubles involving systems and engage stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of cloud services: Experience designing and implementing applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Communication skills: Ability to understand customer issues, articulate solutions, and gain agreement
• Experience improving team or organizational performance as an engineering manager or tech lead
