Summary

Swish Analytics is seeking a 100% remote Technical Project Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build the next generation of Swish Data Science products. The goal is to create intuitive and powerful cutting-edge applications, working in a challenging and rewarding environment. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on data science and/or data engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on data science and/or data engineering projects
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Asana or Jira
• Hands-on experience with data science tools and technologies, such as Python, SQL, AWS, etc

Responsibilities

• Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute on data science & data engineering initiatives
• Defines and documents project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Devises and adapts strategies for executing on necessary goals
• Communicates project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management
• Develops full-scale project plans and associated project & communication artifacts
• Manages the data science backlog and prioritizes them based on evolving requirements
• Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Assists in the staffing and assignment of resources based on project needs

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus

Benefits

Salary: $90,000 - 120,000
