Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business or related scientific /technical discipline. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
  • 10 years of relevant Project Leadership experience in IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall and /or Hybrid) and stakeholder management (e.g. Weekly Progress reports, Workplan)
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination and across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations
  • Expertise in managing high-pressure situations, crafting messaging during crises, and mitigating communication risks
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own
  • Active PMP or equivalent Certification
  • Able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

  • Drive all assigned tasks through to completion, and adhere to schedules, budgets, and scopes
  • Develop project charters, project management plans, facilitate kick-off and status meetings, and maintain clear communication about project expectations, progress, exceptions and resources
  • Conduct regular formal reviews with both project sponsors and the Portfolio Manager
  • Develop and maintain project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and schedules
  • Monitor and responsible for project milestones, identify potential schedule risks and issues, and manage cost, resources, schedules, and technical challenges
  • Notify management of any critical issues and develop mitigating plans
  • Participate in the development of project standards and procedures with Portfolio manager
  • Manage approved change orders, track project metrics, and take corrective actions as needed
  • At the completion of each project, provide a Project Completion Status Report detailing objectives achieved, project metrics, and stakeholder feedback
  • Collaborate with Agency and ESOM Business Operations Team members to provide wholistic picture of ESOM Business Operations including but not limited to: Project overview of IT asset management and logistics including remediation efforts and periodic audit outcomes
  • Asset and Account control Center Dashboard (Power BI)
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support through regular communication, feedback collection, metric/KPI, and tracking progress of program, roadmap, financials, budget, success factors, compliance, AES Score as agreed with agency
  • Ensure escalation paths are up to date and followed for specifications and dependencies to maintain baseline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a federal client
  • Section 508 conformance experience or knowledge
  • Experience with developing long-term asset management strategies and roadmap that align with agency objectives, anticipate challenges, adapt to changing conditions, and congressional communication requests
