Join Glean as the first UK Public Sector Account Executive and drive sales within Central Government, Local Government, and the Public Sector. Requirements

  • 6+ years of direct closing experience with a focus on the UK Public Sector
  • Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and learning

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting central government, local government, and other public sector organisations
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the UK Public Sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the public sector
  • Present Glean's solutions effectively and tailor presentations to the specific needs of each client
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Glean’s products and services, and effectively communicate their value to potential customers
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling software at a startup or in a similar fast-paced environment is preferred
  • Proficient at Command of the Message and MEDDPICC methodology is preferred
  • Experience working with GSI’s and Hyper Scalers (GCP, AWS, Azure) preferred
