Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. (e.g. GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Snowplow Analytics products
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools
  • Work closely with developers to understand product requirements and provide timely feedback on quality issues
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Automate test cases and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automated testing frameworks
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product releases
  • Monitor and analyze test results, and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall product quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of Snowplow Analytics products and services
  • An understanding of event-driven architectures and data processing pipelines
  • Experience with performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity in Go (Golang) programming language
